Archbishop Elpidophoros of America Officially Approves Commencement of Expansion Project

Brookville, NY - It is with sincere and profound gratitude to His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America for his wholehearted blessing to commence the long awaited Expansion Project of our beloved community. This marks the beginning of the long and hard road ahead to build an edifice that will transform and cultivate the lives of countless generations of faithful through fellowship, education, and athletics. As a community we feel a tremendous responsibility before God to work with great discernment and competence to fulfill and complete our project. We need everyone’s participation and partnership in this sacred endeavor. As this project proceeds into the construction phase, it is paramount that we have the full participation and support of ALL our families. United we can accomplish God’s will for our Church!

As early as this coming week you will witness the placement of a fence to designate the area of construction and the arrival of other materials on our property. These are the first steps in the mobilization of the Expansion Project. Furthermore, and with our Construction Permit from the Village of Brookville, a portion of the property will be immediately converted into a work zone. Of course, there will be areas that will still be accessible to you for parking and for all liturgical service. There will be no interruption in our Holy Week schedule, Sunday liturgies, or any of our ministries.
